Well, I did it!! Thank you for the encouragement Peggy and June! And thanks for the jumpstart, little Ashley.
It is official, I now have 2 projects in my knitting basket at the same time, and wool on my wheel. Can life get any better? LOL
I found the cutest little pinwheel sweater idea that I am going to use for Mallory's Christmas present. I am making the little girls all sweaters and matching skirts, btw.I plan on making this with some bright multicolored wool, the kind that knits up "splotchy" with no patterning to the yarn.
The down side of choosing another project while you have one on your needles, is that you are focused on one thing...i.e.knitting, and when you look up to discover the perfect pattern, oh darn, not enough of the color yarn you want. So, .....................road trip!! And the drawback to that, is that my LYS is 40 minutes away.
So, there you have it, the ups and downs as I see it.

Oh my!!!! That is gorgeous!!!! What a wonderful, beautiful gift!!!! Who could pass that one by? Maybe I'll have to make Emma Belle one!!!!
oh that is really cute! What colors are you planning on using? And you know, if you stick around me long enough, you will need a much bigger knitting basket!!
