Okay, there it is........That is what is sneaking up on me.Christmas!
I wanted to make all my gifts this year. What a stupid idea...lol.
I saw on one of my email groups the other day that it was only 87 days until Christmas. Now, wasn't that a particularly cruel thing to do to a person? I ask you. Just cruel....
So, now I am in panic mode. Here's why:
I have 10 people in my family to make gifts for....
The knitting part of 2 of the gifts for 2 of the little girls is done, but the ends of the yarn are not woven in. I am knitting all the little girls a sweater and making each of them skirts to match their sweaters.
I am knitting the little boys each a sweater. I am knitting Ashley a pair of socks (which are almost done) and she picked out a quilt she wants me to make. I am knitting Aubrey a summer top to take to Australia and I am knitting Jared and Anthony something small (one of those is almost done) OH MY GOSH!!!!! I am breaking out in a sweat just thinking about this and typing it is making it seem like an impossibility.
So, this means my spinning wheels and I must part company for a while....sniff, sniff....while all my focus is on Christmas.
I wanted to make new decorations, like stockings, etc...but looking at my list, I better forget it this year, LOL.
Oh yeah, and don't forget the plans for my friends and my husband and, and, and, and........
I either need another pot of coffee or another bottle of wine.....hmmmm, I will think on it.

WOW! I got an anxiety attack just reading that! Now my wheels are turning! Joe just informed me that he wants a kilt for our next renaissance faire we go to. I'm thinking Christmas. I'm thinking about calling my mom!!!
Go With the wine! an 84 Bordeaux would do nicely. Thanks for the family update, and I hope you dont mind if I live vicariously through these stories :)
